Ketogenic Apple Fennel Breakfast Sausage

For a low-carb breakfast, these apple and fennel breakfast sausages that are ketogenic are a great choice. When you mix savory pork, fragrant fennel, and sweet apple, you get a deliciously unique flavor that will satisfy your morning cravings and keep you in ketosis.


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground pork

  • 1/2 cup chopped fennel bulb

  • 1/4 cup grated green apple

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tsp dried sage

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions:

Ground pork, chopped fennel, grated green apple, apple cider vinegar, dried sage, salt, black pepper, nutmeg, and cinnamon should all be mixed together in a bowl


Combine the parts until they are well mixed


Make patties out of the mixture that are the size you want


Set the skillet on medium heat and add a little oil to it


For about four to five minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked, remove from the heat


Enjoy while hot!

Raw Vegan Eggnog

This raw version of eggnog is a creamy and tasty vegan alternative to regular eggnog. It doesn't contain soy and is full of healthy ingredients. Wonderful for holiday parties or cozy nights by the fire.


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups soaked cashews

  • 2 cups coconut water

  • 4-5 pitted dates

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

In a blender, combine soaked cashews, coconut water, dates, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt


Blend until smooth and creamy


Adjust sweetness and spices according to taste


Chill in the refrigerator before serving


Serve cold, garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg if desired
